Justin is currently the CEO of Lumos Hill+Knowlton Strategies Malaysia and Hill+Knowlton Strategies Singapore, a role he took up since November 1st, 2021.

Prior to his promotion, Justin was the Managing Director of Lumos Hill+Knowlton Strategies, as a result of the recent integration exercise between Justin’s own agency LUMOS PR and Hill+Knowlton Strategies in Malaysia.

Before the integration exercise, Justin had led a team of 12 consultants under LUMOS PR where he provided strategic communications services and senior counsel on crisis and issues to a multitude of clients including McDonald’s and HEINEKEN.

Before venturing out to establish LUMOS PR, Justin was the Managing Director of Hill+Knowlton Strategies. During his previous tenure at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, he provided senior counsel to C-level executives from diverse sectors including oil and gas, technology and financial services. Prior to that, Justin headed the Technology Practice at a local boutique agency where he led a team servicing clients such as Dell, Intel, Microsoft, Hitachi Data Systems, and Alcatel Lucent.

Justin’s core skills are in the areas of crisis & issues management, training (spokesperson training and crisis communications simulation), corporate communications and technology.

In his previous life, Justin was a hard-nosed technology journalist/editor with Computerworld Malaysia for over 8 years and as founding editor of PC.com for two years. He holds a BA in Humanities (majoring in Philosophy) from La Trobe University, Australia.

Christine started her journey in the world of advertising and communication in the year 2000 with FCB upon graduating from Monash University with a BA of Arts degree in Communication and Sociology.

Since then, she has worked in FCB, OZ Entertainment, Y&R, Leo Burnett, Edelman Malaysia and Star Media Group (as Group Marketing Officer). She had also in 2016 taken up the role as General Manager to setup and build Havas Media Kuala Lumpur. After 21 years, Christine has gained an in-depth and wide spectrum of experience in marketing, branding, advertising, creative, media, events, digital and PR working on GLCs and industries such as FMCG, Electronics, Finance, Broadcast & Entertainment, QSR, Hospitality and Retail. She was last appointed as the Managing Director of a boutique brand consultancy firm named Engage SEA.

Regardless of industry and the Digital era today, Christine believes that the success of any brand and communication strategy remains at the heart of knowing who our customers are and what is it that moves their hearts. Only with a good understanding of our customers, are we able to create meaningful and successful brands. In order to do that, one has to possess immense curiosity.

Serina is an accomplished consultant with more than eight years of experience in public relations and marketing communications across technology, healthcare and property sectors.

She is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients — providing strategic counsel to clients’ PR and marketing campaigns and identifying relevant stakeholder outreach opportunities. As the account lead and day-to-day contact point, she works closely with her team to help grow brands and drive sales through a range of PR and digital tools.

Serina has worked with a wide range of clients such as LG Electronics, Schneider Electric, ORANEGBEAM, Pantai Medical Group, Oracle, Limelight Networks, Sophos, Bosch, Avanade, AMD, General Electrics, Cyient, Amadeus, Juniper Networks, and Nokia Networks.

Serina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Australia, majoring in communications and media management.
